Summary:

Implementation Engineer assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. The IE evaluates client needs, develops configurations that support business processes, and provides information to product manager to support future product features or initiatives.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Education:    Bachelor's degree

Experience:  Minimum 2 yrs experience with extended reality software (eg. virtual, augmented, mixed reality) in a sales, customer support/success or implementation position with preference given to enterprise augmented reality and spatial computing devices (eg. HoloLens, Magic Leap)

** MUST have AR Experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Augmented Reality software and hardware
  • Customer support processes
  • Enterprise software
  • Customer demonstration and/or sales
  • Training and Instructional Design

Other areas:

  • Experience working within agile development environment and cross-functional teams
  • Requires excellent oral communication skills to support presentations in small to large groups
  • Requires ability to work independently within a structured team or collaboratively
  • Requires proficiency project management software including but not limited to MS Project
  • Requires project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasking, resolve conflicts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist external clients in the implementation of augmented reality software, hardware, and related services
  • Demonstrate how to use augmented reality software and spatial computing devices such as the Microsoft HoloLens, to clients in support of sales calls
  • Demonstrate augmented reality software in support of trade shows, conferences, and events
  • Identify customer software needs, determine end-user behavior, preferences, and usage models, summarize and present to product manager

Travel:

The position requires a moderate to high amount of overnight and extended travel.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform or assist with any additional assignments as required
  • Identify potential opportunities to enhance the product
  • Physical requirements involve performing general office activities
